Western Blue Chip State Forecasts

Western Blue Chip panelists’ state-specific quarterly forecasts are available as charts or tables for each of the 12 states below.

They show annual percentage change projections for personal income, retail sales, wage and salary employment, population growth and single-family housing permits in 2026 and 2027. Retail sales forecasts are replaced by gross gaming gevenue for Nevada, and by manufacturing employment for New Mexico and Oregon, in their respective state-specific forecasts.

The current forecasts were uploaded in July 2026.

Historical state-specific panelist forecasts are also available from August 2018 (monthly through 2022, and quarterly from 2023).
