Freedom Financial is a leader in online financial services, offering debt settlement solutions, mortgages, and personal loans to millions of consumers nationwide.

In spring 2018, Seidman estimated the economic impact of the construction of their new headquarters in Tempe, and the expansion of their operations in the valley.

This was followed by an assessment of the social impact of the Freedom Debt Relief program on the emotional and financial health of its clients.

Published in March 2019, the latter study applied two externally validated survey tools (the Financial Capability Scale and the Perceived Stress Scale) to a survey of 3,452 people struggling with debt. The respondents fell into four general categories: FDR Current Clients, FDR Graduates, Never Enrolled, and General Population. Each group was evaluated on the total scores for, and on individual items from, either scale.
