Fibre Box Association
The Fibre Box Association (FBA) is a nonprofit trade association that represents North American corrugated packaging manufacturers, and strives to grow, protect and enhance the overall wellbeing of the industry by providing member-valued programs and services.
In June 2018, FBA commissioned Seidman to update its Full Disclosure Model. This is a tool used by FBA members to estimate the full lifecycle costs of using corrugated cardboard containers in comparison to reusable plastic containers.
As part of this study, Seidman:
- Mapped the supply chains for both cardboard and plastic containers from grower to retailer and container end-of-life
- Sourced new base data for the Full Disclosure Model
- Updated the Full Disclosure Model using FileMaker Advanced Pro 17 software.
