Falcon Field Airport, Mesa
Falcon Field is a general aviation airport owned and operated by the City of Mesa. Convenient to the Valley’s three major freeways, it serves as a reliever to Phoenix Sky Harbor International and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airports.
With more than 260,000 operations annually, Falcon Field consistently ranks among the top five most active U.S. general aviation airports. Approximately 750 aircraft are based at Falcon Field, which is surrounded by a 1,000-acre business district.
In 2018, Seidman was commissioned to estimate the economic impact of Falcon Field. The impact analysis included aircraft operations, employer activity, and visitor expenditure. The final report is included as a chapter in the revised airport Master Plan developed by Coffman Associates on behalf of the City of Mesa.
