Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits

The Alliance of Arizona was formed in 2004 to be the unifying voice of the nonprofit sector in Arizona. It is the only statewide association dedicated to serving more than 20,000 nonprofit organizations throughout Arizona.

In fall 2018, the Alliance commissioned Seidman to estimate the potential losses in charitable giving reported on federal tax returns by Arizona filers as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Seidman additionally estimated the impact on the state government’s general fund if a subtraction from income provision for charitable donations was introduced on top of a revised standard deduction.
