The Greater Phoenix Blue Chip offers forecasts by a panel of experts who track general economic trends for the Phoenix metro area (defined as Maricopa and Pinal Counties).

The economic forecast tables and the consensus outlook are updated quarterly.

The current economic forecasts (shown below as charts or tables) were uploaded in May 2026. They show annual percentage change projections for population, personal income, retail sales, wage and salary employment, manufacturing employment, and construction employment in 2026 and 2027.
