CopperPoint Insurance
CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company is an Arizona-based provider of worker compensation insurance for more than 15,600 Arizona businesses and their employees. Founded in 1925 as a leading advocate of workplace safety, CopperPoint today now offers worker compensation insurance in additional Western states, including Colorado and Nevada.
Keen to expand its current worker compensation offerings and also launch new lines of business in other states and MSAs, CopperPoint commissioned Seidman in 2015 to help increase its understanding and evaluation of the pace of job creation and business formation in the Western region.
In particular, Seidman has been asked to develop on an ongoing basis:
- A database for up to 50 Western region metropolitan areas, tracking historical and current activity levels for key labor market indicators;
- Annual and quarterly summary analyses of economic conditions for the Western states and up to 50 metropolitan areas; and
- A body of evidence-based indicators and other factors that are useful for the evaluation of the potential success of alternative lines of business in metro areas of interest.
