Chicanos Por La Causa

Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) is an Arizona-based nonprofit 501c3 community development corporation committed to building stronger healthier communities through advocacy, coalition building, and the direct service provision of housing, economic development, education and social services.

In 2010, CPLC in association with 12 other non-profit affordable housing developers successfully secured over $137 million in federal funding for a Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which aimed to revitalize urban and rural housing markets in eight U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

The Seidman Research Institute was commissioned to dynamically estimate the economic impacts of a $32.8 million federal investment linked to this program in Maricopa and Santa Cruz Counties, alongside a state-wide analysis.
